When it comes to tradelines, people constantly ask how much their score will increase by adding tradelines and how long it will take to add those tradelines. We’ve written all sorts of content on this topic. We recently helped a friend of a friend and they were both blown away by the results. It made us realize that people know very little about how powerful tradelines are. So, we decided to make a post out of the scenario so that you can see the results.

How about 81 points in less than 10 days?
Unbelievable?
Well, it’s real. As a disclaimer, credit is extremely complicated, and predicting an outcome is very difficult and in some cases it’s impossible. I feel like a late-night infomercial, but I have to say: “These results may vary.”
As you will see below, we added one tradeline and within 10 days, Michelle’s credit scores increased from 591 on 664 on Experian, 590 to 676 on Equifax, and 624 to 709 on TransUnion (or, 81 points on average). Keep in mind, these are online scores, which may not be accurate. That is, the scores increases could be larger or smaller on a lender report.
Here’s what happened.
A friend, selling a home, had a buyer with credit trouble. We looked at the report and initially said it was risky as far as whether or not tradelines would work. Given their limited time, we all decided to give it a try. The client started out with the following scores on September 26, 2018:
We added one tradeline with a $15,600.00 limit, $0.00 balance, and 3 years of perfect payment history. We added that tradeline sometime after September 26th. The tradeline added reported on, or before, October 5, 2018.
The (online) credit report reported the tradeline in two different areas. Here’s the tradeline reporting to the remaining credit bureaus.

These are good results. Whether you can expect these exact results if you were to buy tradelines depends entirely on what’s in your credit report.
